I think the media blitz on what a terrible druggie problem child Ryan is, was a complete attack from the media based on nothing. I will say I suspect and I am fairly certain he is a DB. But a coked up, pot smoking flunky, nope not seeing it. I am not sure what the media has against him but it cost him a lot in the draft. The pats got a great deal and excellent back up QB. I am not going to say what a great person he is, I dont know him personally and what I have heard on the Hill has not always been great about him. I hear on the hill he is a arrogant DB BUT I think lots athelets are arrogant DB's (ocho cinco, Ben Roth, Charles Barkley, Carmelo Anthony.. long long list here) I think some are flat out not good people at all, but they still get paid millions for their talent. I watched him with Jon Gruden and he was fine, very respectful and answered directly and Jon was the arrogant DB to him and he handled him great, as well as Cam and the rest of the QB's handled Jon. Ryan will not ever be a media darling but I dont think he is remotely the evil red flag person the media has made him out to be recently. It just feels Ryan was singled out and maliciously attacked by the media based on nothing, and that they have it in for him really badly. The reasoning is not clear, but I do know this vicious onslaught by the media cost him some money, I hope he gets the last laugh and learns from the pats and Tom and Makes em all eat their nasty words. I hope this lights a fire under his arse to be a better player, I think he landed fine as far as being with Patriots, and being a understudy for Tom. You never know this could be the best thing that happened to him. It could be a defining moment, a humbling experience that puts a permanent fire under his arse to be a better person and player, I hope it is.

Congrats Butler! Good hard fought game and VCU had a excellent year as well. Now about the Kentucky vs UCONN, or ask I call it CrookedCal 1 vs CrookedCal 2/ Slim Shady vs Slim Shady. Can they both not lose? Both coaches are allegely crooked as all hell. So who do you pull for? Im gonna pull for Kentucky bc they are in the SEC and thats the only reason. But as we all know CrookedCal1 (Calapari) is not so good in the final four so its looking like his team is gonna choke again (Memphis 08 UMass 96 and both vacated) and let CrookedCal 2 win. Whoever wins I know most of the nation is going to be pulling for the Butler to beat the CrookedCal 1 or 2.

This game is exactly why I watch the Tourney every year, it was amazing. Congrats to Butler for fighting their way into the Final Four. The two late games last nite were equally excellent games and great to watch. As a side note if we did not get M. Anderson I would have been foaming at the mouth for us to land Brad Stevens, he is an excellent young coach and brilliant basketball mind.

Good day for Basketball.

Its been a good one, I was disappointed in the Duke/Arizona game I thought that it would have been much closer. Complete blowout in the second half.

Tonights first two games were blow outs too and thats surprising as well.

Thats kind of odd this deep in the tourney to have three blowouts.

Glad Butler won, I love to root for the little guy as does everyone else.

I am ready for the basketball season to end, its been a horrible, rollercoaster with very little highs and too many lows. Our tradition and program is going down the toilet, we are no longer a factor or even a contender, its irritating. Just let me know when we got our new coach and I will be paying attention again.

We gained momentum going into the rest of the season. Although we lost to the REfs from hell to day we played well. Florida got a prestent today wrapped in Zebra stripes, enjoy Florida but no way your running undefeated through the rest of the season. Its going to make us sound like sore losers when Arkansas gripes about the play calling, but there is a ligitamate complaint, there was one phantom pass interference, on phantom personal foul call, several ball placement issues, several other bad calls behind those two major ones. the announcers (not CBS they were to busy making out with Tebow) were commenting on this situation as well. I hope there is some strong criticism about the play calling and some suspension come down from this situation.

Unfortunately since we have been in the SEC we have not beaten Florida, but sooner or later that is gonna change. The real question is will it be tomorrow? I hope so of course, but the reality is a little different. Florida does have a great defense and could cause major problems for the Hogs high powered offense, in fact they could shut us down like Alabama did. The hogs are on a roll, I am gonna say if we come out guns blaring we got a great chance and can score on them. Our offense can be dangerous for any team, they have the ability to put points on the board quick, which is new for the Razorbacks and their fans. Our defense is showing improvement from game to game, I hope they continue that trend and keep Florida's offense off balance. Florida has so many weapons on offense from passing, to the run game, and a mixed bag of tricks. If we can keep them to less than 20 points we can win it. I believe tomorrows game is going to be better than most think, and I believe we can sneak up on Florida and actually win. Just have to make sure the planets are alligned right, and looking at tonights sky we have as good of a chance as anyone else that shows up to play.
